New Hampshire based Parma Recordings has established new recording operations at Prague’s historic Studio Martínek, furthering its commitment to music production in Europe.

Studio Martínek has been a destination for classical composers and performers for over seven decades, offering a top-tier engineering environment, lush acoustics, and an art nouveau setting steeped in history. The press release says: « Optimized for a wide range of recording projects, Parma-related, independent, or otherwise, Studio Martínek is poised for an exciting new chapter. With Parma’s expertise and commitment to artistic excellence, Studio Martínek will bring new opportunities for musicians, ensuring that the cultural landmark remains a premier destination for classical music recordings for years to come. »

Parma plans to conduct many of its recording sessions and initiatives at Studio Martínek, from new and continuous collaborations with contemporary composers and ensembles to their ongoing series of Featured Recording Opportunities.

Projects recorded at Studio Martínek will be released by one of Parma’s independent labels – Navona, Ravello, Big Round, Ansonica, and the newly-acquired Albany Records.
