From April 14 to 22, the Academy Les Chants d’Ulysse, an academy co-founded by Patricia Petibon and Héloïse Gaillard, in partnership with the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, the Saumur Val de Loire Agglomeration and the Dôme theater, will take place. These two places in Maine-Et-Loire will welcome 18 singers for a week of teaching, meetings and exchanges. Indeed, for this first edition, there will exceptionally be only singing academicians.
In Music, improvisation practice will be taught by the composer Thierry Escaich. In physical theater the academicians will work the actress, director and author Sophie Cusset and with the choreographer, director and actress Stéphanie Chêne, for Pilates with Emma Delahaye. Singing class: Patricia Petibon and Robert Expert. Two conductors, Erika Guiomar and Alfredo Abbati, as well as the harpsichordist Jeanne Jourquin, will occasionally intervene as a conductor during the Academy. Interpretation and ornamentation of baroque music will be taught by Héloïse Gaillard.
