Crescendo, Pizzicato and ResMusica, three foremost Internet Magazines about classical music and members of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), will not review the inaugural concert of the Philharmonie de Paris on 15 and 16 January due to a shortage of seats for the press. According to ResMusica’s different sources of information, « the number of paid tickets is very limited, in order to make room for officials and guests. As early as the end of June 2014, all tickets for the event had been sold. Thus, the paying audience will represent only 15% of the public on Thursday 15th January (361 seats out of 2400) and 17% on Friday 16th January (416 seats); the remaining 4023 seats will be allocated to guests. »
