The Piano Festival in la Roque d’Anthéron, Southern France, has sold 75.400 tickets for 67 concerts, the occupation rate being up from 65 to 70 %. With the supplementary free concerts, 85 events were organized with some 100 soloists (among them pianists like Nikolai Lugansky, Arcadi Volodos, Grigory Sokolov, Nelson Goerner, Nicholas Angelich, Christian Zacharias, Lucas Debargue, Abdel Rahman El Bacha…) 400 orchestra musicians and 6 conductors. They performed in 13 different locations in and around la Roque d’Anthéron.
