Vahan Mardirossian dirigiert die beiden Lodronischen Nachtmusiken mit dem Anspruch, schöne Musik zu spielen. Dieser Mozart ist klassisch im Konzept und klingt warm und schön. Mehr aber auch nicht. Da ändert auch das vortreffliche Spiel der Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice nichts an der Tatsache, dass das Programm auf Dauer monoton wirkt. Etwas mehr Fantasie in der Gestaltung hätte dieser Musik gutgetan. Für meinen Geschmack ist das etwas pummelige Ganze nicht rassig genug.
Vahan Mardirossian conducts the two Lodronische Nachtmusiken with the aim of playing beautiful music. This Mozart is classical in concept and sounds warm and beautiful. But nothing more. Even the excellent playing of the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice does not change the fact that the program becomes monotonous in the long run. This music would have benefited from a little more imagination in its design. For my taste, the somewhat chubby whole is not racy enough.
