The California based San Diego Symphony has announced a new sales record. In the 2016/17 season, their series Jacobs Masterworks generated revenues that are 15.6 percent higher than last year’s.
Together with the orchestra’s 2016 Bayside Summer Nights outdoor series, the orchestra also set an overall record for the number of paid admissions for an entire fiscal year with 154,614 tickets sold. The previous record, set in fiscal year 2013, was 153,916 tickets sold.
