French Composer Michel Petrossian has won the the Queen Elisabeth International Grand Prize for Composition with his concerto ‘In the wake of Ea’. The laureate work will be performed in the final of the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition, from 27 May until 1st June, at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts by the 12 finalists with the National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by Marin Alsop. Michel Petrossian is from Armenian descent. He was born in Yerewan in 1973.
