Not many conductors like to talk in public about their work. Now, one of the greatest conductors of vocal music, Pierre Cao, former music director of the renowned choir Arsys Bourgogne, has decided to share his knowledge with the audience. He will lecture about several key works of the choral literature and explain how to approach this music.
The series of lectures starts on November 26 with Bach’s St John Passion. The other topics are the Mozart Requiem (14.01.2016), Haydn’s Die Schöpfung (18.02.2016) and Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem (24.03.2016).
All the lectures will be held in French and take place from 18:30-20:00 at Auditorium Cité in Luxembourg. The cycle is co-organized by INECC (Institut Européen de chant choral).
