The jury of the International Belcanto Competition Vincenzo Bellini awarded First Prize to the Italian soprano Roberta Mantegna. Born in Palermo in 1988 Roberta Mantegna studied piano and opera singing. She was a student of Renata Scotto at the Accademia of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
The Jury awarded a Special female voice award to Czech soprano Stepanka Pucalcova, and the Special prize for the best interpretation of French air to Amélie Robins (soprano), France.
