Der heute 32-jährige deutsche Pianist Alexander Krichel beginnt seine neue CD mit George Enescus Zweiter Klaviersuite. Sie entstand in Paris und ist ein Spiegelbild von Enescu positiven Gefühlen, die er in der Stadt an der Seine entwickelte. Krichel spielt das romantische Werk kraftvoll und brillant.
Es folgt dann eine rhythmisch phantasievoll erarbeitete, stimmungsvoll angelegte Interpretation von Mussorgskys Bildern einer Ausstellung. Und nach den virtuosen Baba Yaga- und Heldentor-Klängen beschließt Krichel seine CD mit einer charmanten Interpretation des Nocturne von Alexander Borodin.
The now 32-year-old German pianist Alexander Krichel begins his new CD with George Enescu’s Second Piano Suite. It was written in Paris and is a reflection of Enescu’s positive feelings that he developed in the city on the Seine. Krichel plays the romantic work powerfully and brilliantly.
This is followed by a rhythmically imaginative, atmospheric interpretation of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. And after the virtuosic Baba Yaga and Heldentor sounds, Krichel concludes his CD with a charming interpretation of Alexander Borodin’s Nocturne.
