The nominees for the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards have been announced. Nominees include conductor Karina Canellakis, soprano Lise Davisen, violinist Elena Urioste, cellist Abel Selaocoe, violist Timothy Ridout and composer Thomas Adès.
Much in the news lately, the English National Opera received two nominations, for their Music Director Martyn Brabbins, and their acclaimed production of The Handmaid’s Tale.
The winners will be announced in March.
