Rafael Payare
The San Diego Symphony announced that Music Director Rafael Payare has extended his contract for four years, through the 2025-26 season. The 30-year-old Payare began his tenure in 2019.
Payare and his wife, cellist Alisa Weilerstein, have homes on San Diego and Berlin.
