The San Francisco Symphony has reached an agreement with its musicians to extend their current collective bargaining agreement by some weeks, through Jan. 18. This temporary extension comes as talks continue between the Symphony’s administration and Musicians Union Local 6 of the American Federation of Musicians, which represents the orchestra players. Both parties aim to finalize a new contract in the coming months.
