Milan’s La Scala has decided to offer the entire revenue from the ticket sales for the Traviata performance on February 26 to the populations hit by the recent earthquakes in central Italy. The artists will perform for free. The funds raised will go towards a project to help children, whose schools, playgrounds and sports facilities have been destroyed.
