Die Berliner Pianistin Aniele Steiniger beginnt ihr Album bei Ars Produktion mit vier Sonaten, drei davon in der Moll-Tonart, von Domenico Giuseppe Scarlatti (1685-1757). Das sorgt für einen ruhigen bez. anmutigen Start, auf den, ausdrucksvoll gespielt, das Stück ‘Aufgrund meiner Verehrung für Domenico Scarlatti von Georg Katzer (1935-2019) folgt. Dessen einfallsreiche Miniaturen reichen von zart bis aggressiv und werden hier ganz eindringlich dargeboten.
Vier Lieder für das Pianoforte von Fanny Hensel (1805-1847) beschließen das Programm. Aniele Steiniger spielt sie flüssig und feinfühlig, aber etwas mehr Drama hätte die Stücke aufwerten können.
Der Titel Tradizione e Liberta kann nicht verhindern, dass die Dramaturgie dieser Produktion nicht ganz schlüssig ist.
Berlin pianist Aniele Steiniger begins her Ars Produktion album with four sonatas, three of them in minor, by Domenico Giuseppe Scarlatti (1685-1757). This makes for a quiet and graceful start, followed by the expressively played « Due to my admiration for Domenico Scarlatti » by Georg Katzer (1935-2019). Katzer’s imaginative miniatures range from delicate to aggressive and are presented here with great intensity.
Four songs for pianoforte by Fanny Hensel (1805-1847) conclude the program. Aniele Steiniger plays them fluently and sensitively, but a little more drama would have enhanced the pieces.
The title Tradizione e Liberta cannot prevent the dramaturgy of this production from not being entirely coherent.
