The Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra is in danger. The official subventions do no longer enable the existence of the orchestra, which has played a key role in the development of cultural life in Seville. Since its premiere in 1991, it has served as Seville´s principal musical ambassador in Spain and abroad. Artistic quality and musical excellence has always been this Ensemble´s principal objective over 23 years of its existence. Its influence in Seville goes far beyond the symphony season. It collaborates with the Maestranza Theater Opera Season, music conservatoires and academies, pedagogical programs, collaborating with numerous other activities that have enriched the city´s cultural life. This orchestra demonstrates its quality both within Spain and abroad. Now, the members of the orchestra ask for support. They launched an international petition.
