In the historical Praga district of Warsaw, at the eastern bank of the Vistula, Sinfonia Varsovia will build a new concert hall seating 1 800. The chosen design by Atelier Thomas Pucher of Graz (Austria) is quite exceptional, combining shoebox concert hall acoustics with a vineyard seating arrangement. Comprising the new concert hall, a park as well as several historical buildings used for administration and an academy, the location will become a new cultural centre for Warsaw and, thanks, to the beautiful park kind of a music garden. According to current plans, the concert hall could be finished in 2020.
