Singaporean violinist Chloe Chua will begin her new role next month for the orchestra’s 2022/23 season has been named as its Artist-in-Residence in the upcoming season of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
Among other works she will perform Mozart’s Violin Concert no. 5 with the orchestra’s new music director, Hans Graf.
Chua won first prize at the Menuhin Competition junior division. She currently plays on a 1729 Pietro Guarneri of Mantua violin, on loan from the Rin Collection.
