Tonight the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will perform the world premiere of Kerry Turner’s Horn Concerto. The new work will be played at the Seligman Performing Arts Center by Karl Pituch, DSO’s Principal Horn and conducted by Music Director Leonard Slatkin. The concert also features Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances as well as Brahm’s Violin Concerto with Yoonshin Song. A second concert with the same program will take place on Friday 24 at 10:45 AM.
