Stupende Klangfülle und Klangreinheit: das ist der erste Eindruck, den wir von dieser Aufnahme des TrioTaus gewinnen. Dieser Klang ist an sich schon attraktiv, aber schnell wird auch klar, dass hinter dem superben Klangbild musikalische Tiefe hörbar wird, die aus Mozarts spätem, kurz nach seinen drei letzten Symphonien entstandenem, sechssätzigem Divertimento dringt, spannungsvoll, vital und von großartiger Rhetorik.

Damit stellt das TrioTaus dieses Werk, das mit den frühen Divertimento nicht gemein hat, auf die Ebene, wo es hingehört, die der großen Meisterwerke Mozarts. Das TrioTaus kann die Vielschichtigkeit dieser Komposition wunderbar verdeutlichen, ohne dabei allzu seriös zu wirken und ohne die Tiefgründigkeit der Musik aufzugeben.

Die Aufnahme ist ideal ausbalanciert und der Surroundklang wirkt sehr natürlich.

Right from the first minutes of this recording, the TrioTaus surprises with an amazing sonority and purity of sound. Yet there is a lot more than a superb sound. The vital performance has depth and gives Mozart’s late, six-movement Divertimento, written shortly after his last three symphonies, a great rhetoric power. The TrioTaus thus places this work, which has nothing in common with the early Divertimenti, on the level where it belongs, that of Mozart’s great masterpieces. It beautifully illustrates the complexity of this composition without being too serious and without abandoning the depth of the music. The recording is ideally balanced and the surround sound is very natural.
