There was a lot of a swing forth and back at the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, yet finally Jonathan Nott seems to have signed his contract. The Swiss Orchestra unveiled the program for its 2016-2017 season today, a season which will be marked by the arrival of the new music director. Yet, Nott will come only on 1 January 2017, starting with a tour of Spain.But for months, so we learn, he has been working with the orchestra on the program 16-17. He also is also part of the recruitment committee of the future chief executive, which could be appointed as soon as in summer 2016.
