Due to a difficult financial situation the Swedish city of Västeras and the Västmanland County Council want to significantly reduce the cost of their local concert hall. Unfortunately, the most probable option will be to shut down the Västeras Sinfonietta and to replace their concerts by touring ensembles. 35 musicians will lose their job.
