Diese Produktion präsentiert eine gute Zusammenstellung mit Tanzsuiten von Campra, Roman, Telemann und Purcell sowie Konzerten von Bach und Vivaldi. Es ist dies die erste CD der 2010 vom Geiger Peter Spissky gegründeten und in Kopenhagen beheimateten Camerata Øresund.
Quasi vom ersten Akkord der Campra-Ouvertüre an steht fest: dies ist ein großartiges Orchester, das für Transparenz und klangliche Klarheit, sowie einen ununterbrochenen, federnden Fluss der Musik sorgt, in dem die verschiedenen Stimmungen und Inhalte wunderbar tänzerisch bedient werden. Das Ensemblespiel bleibt generell schlank, transparent und leicht, die Rhetorik wird dynamisch abwechslungsreich belebt. Dabei summieren sich die Details der Einspielung zu einem zu charmant beschwingten Ganzen.
This production presents a fine set of dance suites by Campra, Roman, Telemann and Purcell, as well as concertos by Bach and Vivaldi.
This is the first CD of the Camerata Øresund, founded in 2010 by violinist Peter Spissky and based in Copenhagen.
From virtually the first chord of the Campra Overture, it’s clear: this is a great orchestra, providing transparency and tonal clarity, as well as an uninterrupted, supple flow to the music, in which the various moods and content are beautifully served in a dance-like manner. The ensemble playing generally remains lean, transparent, and light, and the rhetoric is dynamically enlivened with variety. In the process, the details of the recording add up to a charmingly buoyant whole.
