French tenor André Mallabrera is dead. Born in 1934 he first worked as a watchmaker and jeweler. He studied singing in Algiers and sang in various French cities and at the Opera as well as at the Opéra Comique in Paris. He was also heard in Madrid, Rime and other European cities.
