One former employee of the Bordeaux Opera and her partner are in trial since yesterday, being accused of embezzling €2,4 million between 2002 and 2012, when the fraud was finally discovered. The question today is why nobody at the opera house and nobody at any governmental controlling institution noticed that the woman diverted so much money into her own accounts.
