The Municipal Theater of Sao Paulo (Brazil) is threatening the city with layoffs if the budget of the multidisciplinary theater with its orchestras, choirs and ballet is not increased to compensate for inflation. Instead of the allocated subsidy of the equivalent of 20.4 million euros, the theater is demanding 24.4 million euros.
