Thomas Zehetmair (52) is suffering from « exhaustion and fatigue. » The Minneapolis based newspaper Star Tribune reported that the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra had to change the program of its upcoming Britten Festival, since Zehetmair, an SPCO Artistic Partner, has withdrawn from three weeks of concerts. Doctors told the Austrian violinist and conductor to withdraw from all travel and performing commitments until he fully has recovered.
