When AH Trump took control of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, this action could not be seen as an isolated action. It was part of a whole submission system which has not only turned a traditionally nonpartisan institution into a stage for ideological influence but threatens the integrity and future of American arts and culture, with dangerous consequences for local communities, music education and the broader creative landscape.
It is part of AH Trump’s desire to take control of America’s institutions and population like any dictator would do.
His total political interference erodes not only artistic independence but also the one of media outlets, education arts communities nationwide etc., to get in the end more power and control over the social exchanges. The result will be a totally controlled and organized cultural homogeneity that excludes and silences any marginalized voices an becomes a tool for ideological or political messaging à la AH Trump.
One only can hope that there will be enough voices to defend artistic freedom and creativity.
