A growing number of music lovers look for unusual concert places. Here are some of them. Prades Festival in France organizes a chamber music concert at the Canalettes Caves in Corneilla de Conflent. On July 29, Dimitri Illarionov, Artis Quartet, Patrick Gallois, Jean-Louis Capezzali, Michel Lethiec, Carlo Colombo and André Cazalet play Vivaldi, Tomasi, Mozart and Boccherini in this magnificent natural concert hall.
On July 28, ‘Festival des Arcs’ invites to a concert at the Vernettes Chapel, located high in the mountains (2500 meters) and accessible only by walking. The festival organizes a Bach Day at the chapel, from 11h30 to 18h00.
At Canebiers beach in Saint-Tropez the pontoon becomes a floating stage on August 5, for an evening concert of the Festival ‘Les Nuits du Château de La Moutte’.
