The viola player Christopher Goldscheider, 48, says he suffered an ‘acoustic shock’ during rehearsals for Wagner’s Ring des Nibelungen at London’s Royal Opera House, five years ago, in 2012. Now he sues the opera house because, as his lawyers say, he could not return to work and had to give up playing music. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
