The Argentinian and Uruguayan newspapers La Nacion and El Observador report about a police operation aimed at dismantling the so called Villa Crespo organization, allegedly involved in human trafficking, sexual exploitation and other crimes. The investigation apparently and according to those reports show that business figures, politicians and influential people had links to that organization. The seizure of documents and audio allegedly involves also the Spanish singer Placido Domingo who could be a victim of that organization.
La Nacion says: « The series of audio tapes reconstructs an alleged sexual encounter of the tenor with a woman who is part of the sect and who is mentioned as Mendy in the audios in which she interacts with the Spaniard and also with the ‘Master’ of the organization, Juan Percowicz. »
