The mayor of the French city Saint-Etienne has sacked general manager Vincent Bergeot, music director Laurent Campellone and production director Nathalie Platret of the local Opera Theatre for serious or gross misconduct. The dismissing of Secretary General David Camus is currently a legal matter. Five other employees had already been dismissed in October, in order to save between €320.000 and 340.000. Funny enough, interim director Eric Blanc de la Naulte, had been sacked in by the city in 2009 for serious professional fault.
