French tenor Yann Beuron has announced on his Facebook page that he will end his stage career next year, at the age of 52 and after a career of over 30 years. He explains that he feels it’s time for him and that he intends to « enjoy life differently ».
He specifies that his last stage appearance will be at the Opéra Bastille next season in Le Soulier de Satin, a world premiere opera by Marc-André Dalbavie after Paul Claudel, in which he will sing Don Pélage.
His last album, with melodies by Mel Bonis, is scheduled to be released by Palazzetto Bru Zane
The singer will not give up his activity as a lecturer in Masterclasses.
