The renowned chamber music ensemble ‘Quatuor Isaÿe’ gave its very last concert on Friday 24^th at the Auditorium of ‘Cité de la Musique’ in Paris. In the French press the founder and viola player Miguel da Silva explained that the four musicians decided two years ago to stop activities in 2014, the year of the Quartet’s 30th anniversary. Besides Da Silva, the ensemble comprised violinists Guillaume Sutre and Luc-Marie Aguera as well as cellist Yovan Markovitch.
